Sunday, April 3 - Smart Gardening Workshop
New Westminster’s Pesticide Use Bylaw came into effect last year on March 1, 2010. This bylaw restricts the use of pesticides for cosmetic (non-essential) purposes in maintaining outdoor plants.
Learn how to maintain your garden and lawn organically at this City workshop. Come with your questions, notepad and pen. You will learn a lot!

Increase in Auto Crime in Neighbourhood
Downtown Residents’ Association,
It has come to our attention that there has been an increase in auto crime in your neighbourhood. Vehicles with valuables on display or do not use an anti-theft device are more at risk. Please be vigilant about your vehicle security and report suspicious activities/individuals immediately to the police.
Note: Please communicate this message to all your residents and encourage communication with each other and the police.
