2011 Sapperton Day Street Festival, Saturday, June 12

There's something for everyone at the 2011 Sapperton Day Street Festival!
Sunday June 12th 11am - 5pm  East Columbia St. New Westminster (between Sherbrooke St. & Braid St.)
The Sapperton Day Street Festival is a non-profit community event that brings over 10,000 visitors into Sapperton.  Admission is FREE & proceeds go to the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation.

There will be Live Music, Craft Fair & Market Place, Info Booths, Kids Activities and Silent Auction, prizes, give aways, tests of skill & daring!

Enjoy the Pancake Breakfast, Hot Dogs & Mini Donuts, enter the 50/50 Draw, let loose the kids in the Bouncy Castles, have you r face painted & get your likeness drawn from our Caricaturist,  win a prize at the Carnival Games then climb the Rock Wall.  Still want more?  How about trying out the Velcro Wall ... you need to see it to believe it!

The Main Stage will feature local talent: Duck Soldier, Tuesdays at the Marquee, Faceplants, Merge and the Official Band of the Sapperton Day Street Festival, the Great Canadian Rock Band.

Baia Brother Bike Trials will be  showcasing their skills and running clinics through out the day teaching the basic moves of bike trials (interested participants must bring their own bike and helmet) in Cap’s Parking lot.

We have the Vancouver Circus School Aerial Trapeze, Dawndreams juggling, Korki the Klown, Spiderman & so much more!

The Festival is blocks away from 2 Skytrain Stations: both Braid St. & Sapperton Stations are just a short walk from the Festival site.  Leave your car at home & enjoy the day.   Come on out and help celebrate Sapperton!
